The movie, directed by Abhay Pannu, tells the story of Manya Surve (played by John Abraham), a small-time thief who becomes a gangster. He works for a powerful don, Haji Mastan (played by Rohit Roy), but later starts working for another gangster, Dr. Akbar Khan (played by Kangana Ranaut's voice, but uncredited; her face and actually Mumtaz). The movie received mixed reviews from critics but
