The Epson L220 is a popular ink tank printer (part of Epson’s EcoTank-like L-series). Like all inkjet printers, it tracks internal usage counters — especially the waste ink pad counter . Once this counter reaches a predefined limit, the printer stops working and shows a “Service Required” error (often indicated by blinking lights or an error message in the driver).
