Abstract: The integration of digital imaging into light microscopy has become essential for documentation and analysis. This paper evaluates the NXM-EP200 microscope digital camera and its associated proprietary software. Key performance metrics including resolution, color fidelity, frame rate, and software functionality (measurement, stacking, stitching) were tested. Results indicate that the EP200 system provides adequate performance for educational and routine laboratory use, though with limitations in low-light sensitivity compared to higher-end CMOS sensors.
