Maybe that’s what this version really is. A quiet patch. A breath before the storm I know is coming. The elf rebellion isn’t a rumor anymore. The corporation is sniffing around the old district. And my girls… my impossible, broken, brilliant girls… they’re starting to look at me like I’m the answer.
