Geet realizes that Aditya is the man she truly loves. In a beautiful climax, she proposes to him at a railway station (reversing the opening scene). Aditya accepts. Aditya returns to Mumbai. Inspired by Geet’s zest for life, he takes charge of his company again. He becomes successful, rich, and happy. Months pass. One day, he sees Geet’s photo in a magazine. He learns that she never returned home. Her family thinks she is with Aditya. Aditya realizes he loves her.
They escape Bhatinda and travel to Manali. In Manali, they finally find Anshuman’s house—only to discover that Anshuman already has a wife and child. Geet is shattered. She cries for the first time in the film. Aditya comforts her. Realizing her family will be worried, Geet asks Aditya to leave her alone and go back to Mumbai. He refuses, but she insists. He leaves her at a railway station.
