1. What is FRP on Samsung Devices? Factory Reset Protection (FRP) is a security feature on Android devices running Android 5.1 (Lollipop) and above. After a factory reset, FRP requires the owner to sign in with the last Google account synced to the device. If you don’t know the credentials, the device becomes locked.
