Bound by Connor is a guilty pleasure read. It won't win awards for literary innovation, but it is perfect for a rainy afternoon when you want a high-heat, medium-stakes romance. If you love the "fated mates" or "dangerous contract" tropes and don't mind a hero who toes the line between protective and controlling, give this one a shot.

Connor is written as a classic "shadow daddy" archetype. He is brooding, possessive, and incredibly competent. If you enjoy male leads who speak in low growls and have a "touch her and die" attitude, Connor will scratch that itch. The chemistry in the first half of the book is electric. The author does a fantastic job with the slow burn, making every accidental touch and heated stare feel significant. bound by connor
