Kai arrives on Java Prime undercover, pretending to be a merchant. Ben is already there, chasing the Heartvirus. Their first reunion is tense: “Still solving everything by punching it into a different color?” Ben: “Still pretending you don’t care while following me across galaxies?” They’re forced to partner up. During a stakeout in a Javan “memory-café” (where patrons relive past dates), Ben sees a memory of their first kiss. Kai catches him watching. Kai (softening): “That was a good sync. Before you chose the Omnitrix over breakfast.” Ben: “I’ve had 3,000 breakfasts since. None were that good.” Their romance rekindles through shared danger—but Jax’s arrival complicates things. 2. She explains: “In Java Prime, we don’t fall in love. We compile it. But you… you throw exceptions in my system, Tennyson.”
Jax initially hacks Ben’s Omnitrix as a prank, turning him into “Heatjunk” (a glitched Heatblast who leaves embarrassing love-notes in ash). Ben is furious; Jax is amused. But when the Heartvirus targets Ben (using his old rejection from Elena Validus), Jax risks her existence to shield his core code.
