Since I cannot reproduce a copyrighted textbook story directly, I’ve written an on the theme Akkana Tullu (Elder Sister’s Mischief / Playful Trick). This story carries a moral about responsibility and love.

ಒಂದು ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಜು ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಹೋದರಿಯರಿದ್ದರು. ಗಂಗಾ ದೊಡ್ಡವಳು, ಮಂಜು ಚಿಕ್ಕವಳು. ಗಂಗಾಗೆ ತುಂಬಾ ತುಳ್ಳುತನ. ಏನಾದರೂ ಒಂದು ತಮಾಷೆ ಮಾಡಿಯೇ ತೀರಬೇಕು. Akkana Tullu Kannada Story 3 26

ಮಂಜು ಅಕ್ಕನನ್ನು ಕ್ಷಮಿಸಿದಳು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಗಂಗಾ ತನ್ನ ತಂಗಿಯ ಜೊತೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಇದ್ದಳು, ಯಾವತ್ತೂ ತುಳ್ಳು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ. Since I cannot reproduce a copyrighted textbook story

ಮಂಜು ನಂಬಿ ಆ ಪುಡಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಂದಳು. ಅದು ಪುಡಿ ಏನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ಅದು ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಹಿಟ್ಟು. ಮಂಜು ಹಾರಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದಳು – ಏನೂ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಮಂಜು ಅಳಲು ಶುರು ಮಾಡಿದಳು. Akkana Tullu Kannada Story 3 26
